Tips to better health & raising your Vibrations.
Did you know that everything vibrates, including food, this can create change in our bodies on a cellular level!
Food that is alive and from the earth will energize and invigorate you, make you feel lighter. Processed pre-packaged, dead food will leave you feeling lethargic and uninspired bringing no real energy to our energetic system.
Foods to increase health, prana & vibration are as follows:
Fresh organic natural fruits, berries, nuts, seeds and vegetables.
Natural supplements like spirulina, chlorella and Macha powder.
Herbal Teas
Herbs and spices
Pure or filtered water or freshly collected spring water are the best choices.
Healthy oils like olive oil, almond and coconut oil.
Fermented foods
Raw chocolate
Raw honey and maple syrup although this is still sugar.
Legumes
Grains such as buckwheat, brown rice, amaranth, and spelt.
Eating Mindfully
Think before you put in in your mouth! Why am I actually eating this, is it for nutrients, health or because I am bored, stressed, upset etc.
How much am I eating, do I need all of this food?
Eat at the table & be aware of the how your food looks, tastes and the texture of your food, take it slow, chew properly and make time to enjoy what you have prepared.
It takes at least 20 minutes before your stomach signals to your brain that it is full.
Giving thanks for your food, showing gratitude for it's nutrients will help you appreciate it more.
If you are still hungry, drink some water maybe your thirsty. Drink plenty of filtered water, fruity teas. (keep an eye on the sugar content).
Eat more veg and fruit, eat less red meat.
Snack on fruit and veg throughout the day.
Only eat when you are actually hungry.
Try not to eat to late, the metabolism slows down at night. I don't eat after 6 o'clock if I can help it.
Eating for your chakras
Eating high vibrational food can help to keep your energetic system clean & introduces more essential prana, enhance overall energy and helps support the Chakras.
Foods colour mimics the colour of the chakras to help activate & balance, eat food groups of the same colour.
To calm overactive Chakras - you can eat foods of the opposite colour to calm down an overactive Chakra.
Base Chakra - Red - Grounding
Root vegetables: carrots, potatoes, parsnips, radishes, beets, onions, garlic, etc.
Protein-rich foods: Meats if your not veggie. Beans, tofu, soy products, peanut butter if veggie.
Spices: horseradish, hot paprika, chives, cayenne, pepper, Grounding foods.
Also Red Foods.
Sacral Chakra - Yellow - Sexual/Creativity Center
Sweet fruits: melons, mangos, strawberries, passion fruit, oranges, coconut, etc.
Honey & Nuts: almonds, walnuts, etc. Water rich foods and drink, Broths, soups.
Spices: cinnamon, vanilla, carob, sweet paprika, sesame seeds, caraway seeds. Also yellow foods.
Solar plexus Chakra - Orange - Boosting Self-Esteem
Granola and Grains: Brown pastas, Brown breads, Brown rice, Whole grain foods flax seed, sunflower seeds, etc.
Bananas, food that converts energy slowly e.g. complex carbs.
Dairy: milk, cheese, yogurts, Melissa, chamomile, turmeric, cumin, fennel.
Also Orange Foods.
Heart Chakra - Green - Love & Healing Relationships & Emotional Hurts
Leafy vegetables: spinach, kale, dandelion greens, etc.
Air vegetables: leafy veg, kale, broc choy, chard, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, celery, squash, etc.
Liquids: green teas.
Spices: basil, sage, thyme, cilantro, parsley, green foods.
Throat Chakra - Blue/turquoise - speaking ones truth, communication
Liquids in general: water, fruit juices, herbal teas.
Tart or tangy fruits: lemons, limes, grapefruit, kiwi, blueberries, black grapes. Other tree growing fruits: apples, pears, plums, peaches, apricots, etc.
Spices: salt, lemon grass. Also Blue Foods.
Brow Chakra - Indigo - Vision & Crown Chakra -Violet- Vision, connection to spirit
Dark bluish/purple colored fruits: red grapes, black berries, raspberries, etc.
Liquids: red wines( One Glass not a bottle) and grape juice.
Spices: lavender, poppy seed, mugwort. Also Dark/Purple foods.
Crown Chakra can also benefit from: fasting /detoxing Incense and Smudging Herbs: sage, copal, myrrh, frankincense, and juniper, energy clearing with sage can help remove none beneficial negative energy.
Recipes
Buckwheat pancakes : Around 200g of buckwheat flour, 4 eggs & around half a 500ml of milk of your choice. I don't actually measure the ingredients I just make it so it has a nice consistency, not to thick. I don't usually add sugar. I would usually add agave syrup if needed, serve with fruit, berries or you could have them savory .
Buckwheat porridge: Buckwheat flakes instead of oats, milk of your choice, add into a pan and heat up until cooked. To serve add fruit, berries, nuts and seeds as a topper or just agave syrup to sweeten.
A bit like Mewsley: Buckwheat puffs in a bowl or buckwheat flakes, Chop a small amount of almonds or walnuts, 1 date chopped, optional,
1 tbls of Linwood's flax, sunflower, pumpkin, sesame seed & goji berries milled mix & raw Cacao nibs. Add all ingredients into a bowl add milk or Greek runny yogurt to serve.
Omelette wrap: Use 2 eggs, beat eggs and add a pinch of sea salt, oil a none stick pan with olive oil, spread the eggs around the pan like you would with pancake so it resembles a thin omelette. Cook the egg, when plated put salad or a healthy filling of your choice onto the omelette, roll the omelette cut into two & serve.
Main meals
You can serve the these dishes with grilled or steamed fish, chicken, quorn pieces. For the salad you can mix in some buckwheat groats or put in a wholemeal pitta bread.
Salad for 2: Chop 1 avocado, 1 tomato, optional- lettuce of your choice, 1 red onion, 1 tbls of capers, 1/2 a cucumber, 1 celery , 1-2 tbls of Linwood's flax, sunflower, pumpkin, sesame seed & goji berries milled mix, 3 -4 dates & walnuts. Chop all ingredients up into small pieces, mix ingredients together in a large bowl and then add the juice of 1/2 a lemon.
This recipe was taken from the Sirt diet if you want the original.
Rice Dish: Boil 2 cups of brown rice & add 1 tsp of bouillon stock and cardamom pods. Chop 1 red onion, 1 garlic clove, 1 tsp ginger & fry in olive oil then add 1 tbs turmeric, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp coriander, then add a handful of spinach and cook for a couple of minutes. when the rice is nearly ready remove the cardamom pods, add the rest of the mixture to the rice, stir and leave to finish cooking. Serve with side salad and fish, chicken or quorn.
Juice: 2 handfuls of Kale, 1 apple, 2 handfuls of baby spinach , 1/2 lemon juice, 1 small teaspoon fresh ginger & 200ml of water. Blast all ingredients together and enjoy.
Cleansing The Energy Field
There are many ways to cleanse the energy field here are a few I like to do.
Sound
Using sound vibration, singing bowl, chanting, toning are all great for shifting & clearing energy.
Mantras are tools of power & tools for power. Mantras start a powerful vibration which corresponds to a spiritual energetic frequency & state of consciousness, over time the vibration of the specific mantra overrides all of the lower vibrations.
Eventually the mantra produces a state where you will energetically vibrate at the same frequency as the mantra. This is usually with daily practice and the time it takes to do so varies individually.

Hebrew, translation “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God of Hosts.”
There are some great mantras on youtube or you can get great CD's. Remember to mindfully chant along.
Smudging or using Sage
Origin - Native American
Smudging is used to purify and remove negative energy. It is also used to initiate healing. The smoke disperses impurities allowing the healing process to commences, the smoke can carry the prayers to Spirit, where spirit guides and high vibrational beings can lift negative thoughts and emotions away, also Keeping away negative spirit.
Herbs used in smudging
Sage or any other sacred plant of choice. Sage represents the earth, when burned, the smoke represents the air.
I like to grow my own if possible or used locally sourced herbs/plants.
Abalone shell: This holds burning plants. The shell represents the water element.
lighter or flame: This represents the fire element.
Feather: Also represents the air element.
Clear your space of clutter and mess and open up windows and curtains and allow for clean air to enter. Light your sage (or other herbs) until they smoulder, fan the smoke with your feather around your body and anyone else in your space.
You can also clear the house by fanning the sage into all the areas of your living space, corners, places the smoke would not normally reach without direction.
Shamanic Journeying
Journeying can be used for self healing, intuitive development and divination. It has been effective in work to heal the self, the community and the planet. It can support and sustain positive personal growth and enhanced spiritual connectedness. It's power is to be used respectfully and only for good. Through journeying, we can experience alternative realms, our visions and dreams that can be real, accessible, tangible. Journeying can open the door to an awareness that there are other realities, other worlds. These other worlds can be sources of energy, creativity, passion and love that power. Journeying brings us wisdom and self-empowerment in a positive, healing way. However it is recommended doing a journey to meet your spirit guides first as the can
accompany you on each journey for guidance and protection.
Guided chakra development
I find it beneficial to do guided meditations or visualisation around each chakra. when journey into each chakra, one at a time or concentrating on the one that is blocked. You can gain insight into and release what is causing the imbalance in your outer environment. When doing these journeys you will remain aware of your body. You may experience different emotions, sensations or images, It may be a past, present or parallel, issue that needs resolving before the situation or problem can be released. This can also be done with recurring issues or themes.

Regular Meditation
In true meditation all objects (thoughts, feelings, emotions, memories, etc.) are left to their natural functioning.
This means that no effort should be made to focus on, manipulate, control, or suppress any object of awareness.
In true meditation the emphasis is on being awareness; not on being aware of objects, but on resting as awareness itself. Primordial awareness is the source in which all objects arise and subside.
As you gently relax into awareness, into listening, the mind’s compulsive contraction around objects will fade.
Silence of being will come more clearly into consciousness as a welcoming to rest and abide. An attitude of open receptivity, free of any goal or anticipation, will facilitate the presence of silence and stillness to be revealed as your natural condition. (OBSERVATION IS KEY)
